On another note, the people associated on this site need to stop 'crying wolf'. I am all for preserving our heritage, but seriously, you protest against any high-rise development. Nobody listens to you anymore because they know you will protest against everything.
We need high-rise development around train stations and activity districts. If we don't have this development, then they will build medium rise right next door to your house in the suburbs.
No what we will have is high rise and medium rise as is already happening in Boroondara see the leader article and plan.
As well as the Brumby government paying back developers they are paying back those who don't vote for them by wrecking their neighbourhoods. The new socialist way of changing the votes... cram people into the 'bad' suburbs.
