We are happy to announce that the meeting on Thursday night was a great success and a plan has been put in place to establish a broad based campaign.
The first organising meeting for the campaign will be held in a fortnight at the Fitzroy Town Hall. Meet at 7pm Thursday 26th June. This is an open meeting and we encourage you all to attend.
This meeting will purely be an organising meeting. We will discuss things like the name of the campaign, fundraising, future actions, meetings and propaganda.
There will be jobs for everyone to do and people will be able to make a contribution no matter how big or small. Every little bit will help.
In the meantime we have set up a make shift website and an email account. Please use this email address to communicate with the campaign.
Also please promote the website amongst your friends and encourage them to sign up to this email list. This is the easiest and cheapest way for us to communicate with everyone.
Already we have almost 100 supporters signed up but we want to grow the campaign much bigger!
